01 Create a free account to keep your results and development history together.
Create a free Evans Learning Labs account before you begin whenever possible. Your account is what connects purchases, completed assessments, online reports, downloadable reports, and future retakes to one permanent personal record. There is no subscription required simply to maintain the account.
After you sign in, My Dashboard becomes your home base. It is where you return after an assessment to open your result, review the visual breakdowns and interpretation provided by that tool, download the comprehensive printable PDF report where one is available, and start an eligible retake later.
The account also protects the continuity of your development history. A retake is stored as another attempt rather than replacing what came before, so the same dashboard can show how your results have changed or remained stable over time.

02 Take the free assessment and see how the assessment experience works.
The free Organizational Performance Assessment is the easiest way to see how Evans Learning Labs works before purchasing anything. Complete the questions, submit the assessment, and review the resulting analysis so you can experience the question format, result structure, and development-oriented approach firsthand.
You do not need to purchase a tool to take this assessment. If you already created your free account, complete the assessment while signed in so the result is associated with your dashboard. If you started first and created the account afterward, use the account going forward so future tools, reports, and retakes remain in one place.
This first assessment is also useful as an orientation to the platform: the goal is not a pass/fail score, but a structured result you can interpret and use.
03 Choose and purchase the assessments that are useful to you.
When you are ready to go further, browse the toolkit and choose the assessment that matches the question you are trying to answer. You can purchase one tool at a time and add others whenever they become useful; you do not need to buy a bundle or maintain a recurring subscription to keep access to completed work.
Complete purchased assessments while signed in. Once completed, the assessment becomes part of your account history and its available result views and reports are accessible from My Dashboard. You can return to those results later rather than treating the assessment as a one-time transaction.
Because the tools address different professional and organizational questions, your dashboard can gradually become a broader record of your development rather than a collection of disconnected PDFs.

04 Use My Dashboard to explore your results and reports.
Completing the assessment is only the first part of the experience. Open My Dashboard whenever you want to revisit what the assessment found. The exact presentation varies by tool, but results can include visual breakdowns, domain or dimension interpretation, detailed narrative findings, development guidance, and other analysis specific to that assessment.
Where a downloadable report is provided, the dashboard is also where you open or download the comprehensive printable PDF version. That gives you a portable report for your own records, coaching conversations, development planning, classwork, or later comparison without losing the richer online view.
Your dashboard keeps the individual result and the longer-term record together. That means you can look at the latest attempt when you need the current picture, then move into longitudinal history when you want to understand how the same assessment has changed across multiple attempts.

05 Retake assessments for free and see how your results change over time.
Retakes are free for life for assessments you have access to. When enough time has passed, your responsibilities have changed, or you have deliberately worked on a development priority, you can return to My Dashboard and take the same assessment again without paying a retake fee.
The new attempt does not overwrite the earlier one. Evans Learning Labs keeps the assessment history so you can compare attempts and see what moved, what remained stable, and whether a development effort appears to be showing up differently over time. The value is the pattern across attempts, not simply obtaining another report.
This also means your history can continue with you across roles and employers. Your personal account remains the record of your own completed assessments, while any organization or institution that licensed a particular administration receives only the access and reporting available through that licensed deployment.
Choose the license, approve the deployment, then administer it through ELL or your existing learning platform.
Organizations license a specific number of tools and seats, then choose whether participants will use Evans Learning Labs directly or access the licensed tools through an LTI 1.3-compatible LMS or LXP. The process moves from pricing and license selection to review and acceptance, then into the selected administration path. Each step below explains what your team needs to provide, who handles the next action, and what happens after setup.
01 Review organizational pricing and choose the license structure that fits the deployment.
Start by choosing the number of tools and seats your organization needs, then decide whether participants will use Evans Learning Labs directly or access the licensed tools through an LTI 1.3-compatible LMS or LXP. The pricing options are designed around the scale of the deployment, not around a particular team, department, or program structure.
Before submitting the request, decide whether participants will use the Evans Learning Labs website or access the licensed tools inside an LTI 1.3-compatible LMS or LXP. Website delivery uses the ELL manager dashboard. LTI 1.3 lets participants launch the licensed tools from the learning environment they already use.

02 Submit the organizational license request.
Submit the organizational licensing request with the number of tools, number of seats, primary contact, preferred delivery method, and any purchasing, accessibility, security, or LMS requirements that may affect setup. The request gives Evans Learning Labs the information needed to configure the license correctly.
The purpose of the request is to make sure the approved license matches the exact tools and seats you intend to use, along with the delivery method your organization selected.
03 ELL reviews the request. Your organization reviews and accepts the approved license.
Evans Learning Labs reviews the request before the license is activated. You receive the pricing, agreement, and next steps after review. This is where the number of seats, licensed tools, delivery method, and any deployment-specific requirements are confirmed.
Once the approved terms are available, your organization reviews and accepts the license. After acceptance, the selected administration route is provisioned so the authorized manager or HR lead can move directly into setup instead of waiting for a separate manual implementation project.
If something in the approved configuration does not match what you requested, resolve it before adding participants or completing an LMS connection. That prevents the wrong tool set, seat count, or delivery method from being propagated into the deployment.
04 Open the manager dashboard or the LTI 1.3 setup information included with the license.
After activation, continue with the route selected on the license. Both routes provide access to the licensed assessments, but the administrative work happens in different places.
The authorized manager or HR lead administers the deployment directly from Evans Learning Labs. Create the groups or cohorts you need, then add participants using the email addresses they will use with ELL.

- Add members using their email addresses and place them into the appropriate groups.
- Participants use free ELL accounts for website delivery and receive access under the organizational license.

What participants keep: their own completed assessment results remain connected to their personal accounts, including the lifetime retake history available to them.
The ELL dashboard provides the LTI 1.3 information generated for the approved license. Give those values to the administrator responsible for your LMS or LXP rather than trying to complete the platform registration yourself unless you are that administrator.
- Open the LTI 1.3 configuration information in the ELL dashboard.
- Provide the displayed configuration values to your LMS or LXP administrator.
- The administrator creates or registers Evans Learning Labs in the learning platform.
- Your administrator returns the platform-generated values required by ELL.
- Enter those return values in the ELL dashboard and complete the connection.
Once the dashboard shows the LTI 1.3 connection as active, the technical registration is complete. The remaining work is to place the licensed ELL tools into the appropriate learning experiences in your LMS or LXP.
05 Launch the licensed tools and begin tracking participation and results.
For ELL website delivery, verify that the necessary groups exist, members have been added with the correct email addresses, and the licensed tools are available to the intended participants. Employees can then sign in to their free ELL accounts, complete the assessments, and return to their own dashboards for their individual results and reports.
For LTI 1.3 delivery, once the connection is active, add the licensed Evans Learning Labs tools to the appropriate courses, programs, assignments, or learning paths inside your LMS or LXP. Participants launch the tools from that environment rather than navigating separately through ELL; LTI delivery does not require a separate ELL login for the participant experience.
Authorized organizational users can then use the administration and group reporting included with the license to monitor the deployment. The purpose of the manager view is to understand participation and the licensed group-level information without replacing the participant's own personal result history.

Institutions license a specific number of tools and student seats, then choose whether to administer them directly through Evans Learning Labs or deliver them through an LTI 1.3-compatible LMS. The steps below separate instructor actions from LMS-administrator actions so implementation is clear before launch.

The license is based on tools and seats; how you distribute those seats across courses, sections, cohorts, or programs is up to your institution.
Choose the delivery method at the same time. Website delivery includes the instructor dashboard and direct ELL access. LTI 1.3 lets students launch the licensed assessments from the learning environment they already use.

02 Submit the academic license request.
Submit the academic licensing request with the number of tools, number of student seats, institutional contact, preferred delivery method, and any LMS, accessibility, purchasing, or implementation requirements that may affect setup.
Evans Learning Labs follows up after review with the formal quote, license agreement, and next steps. Providing complete information at the start reduces back-and-forth and helps the approved license match the exact tools, seats, and delivery method you need.
03 ELL reviews the request. Your institution reviews and accepts the approved license.
Evans Learning Labs reviews the request to confirm the number of student seats, licensed tools, delivery method, and any institutional requirements. The approved pricing and agreement are then returned for institutional review before activation.
After the institution accepts the approved license, the selected delivery route becomes available to the authorized instructor or program administrator. Direct ELL delivery opens the instructor administration workflow; an LTI 1.3 license provides the integration information needed by the institution's LMS administrator.
Complete this acceptance step before building classes or asking IT to configure the LMS. That ensures everyone is working from the final tool set, seat count, delivery method, and approved academic deployment.
04 Set up classes in the instructor dashboard or complete the LTI 1.3 connection.
After activation, setup depends on whether the institution chose direct ELL administration or LTI 1.3. The instructor does not need to duplicate both workflows; use the route selected on the approved license.
Create the class, cohort, or group structure that matches the way you want to administer the course. Add students using the email addresses they will use for their free Evans Learning Labs accounts.
- Create classes, sections, cohorts, or project groups as needed.
- Add students by email and place them into the appropriate group.
- Students create free ELL accounts for website delivery and access the licensed tools under the academic license.
- Make the licensed assessments available to the correct class or cohort.

The instructor dashboard shows student completion and results as assessments are completed, so instructors do not need to collect individual PDF submissions just to confirm who has finished.
Open the LTI 1.3 configuration information in your ELL dashboard and give those values to the institution's LMS administrator. The LMS administrator completes the platform-side registration and returns the values required to finish the connection in ELL.
- Copy the ELL-provided LTI 1.3 configuration information from the dashboard.
- Send it to the LMS administrator responsible for Canvas, Blackboard, Moodle, Brightspace, or another LTI-compatible LMS.
- The administrator registers Evans Learning Labs and sends back the LMS-generated return values.
- Enter those values in the ELL dashboard.
- Confirm that the LTI 1.3 connection shows as active before adding assessment links to courses.
With LTI 1.3 delivery, students access the licensed tools directly through the LMS without needing a separate Evans Learning Labs login.
05 Add the licensed tools to the course and begin the assessment cycle.
For direct ELL delivery, confirm that students have been added with the correct email addresses, placed in the appropriate class or cohort, and given access to the licensed tools. Students then complete the assessments through Evans Learning Labs and can return to their personal dashboards for their own results, reports, and eligible future retakes.
For LTI 1.3 delivery, activating the connection does not automatically place the licensed assessments into the LMS. After LTI is active, add each licensed Evans Learning Labs tool wherever you want it to appear inside the LMS. Students then launch the assessment directly from that location.
The instructor or authorized administrator can use the academic administration views included with the license to follow completion and work with cohort-level results. Students still receive their own assessment outputs, including downloadable PDF reports where the tool provides them.
